WIREFRAME

Wireframe’s collection works with a dimensional element like the network and draw with it soft volumes. The net draped on metal structures shapes jewels with unusual volumes that talks together with the body by simulating the details of a dress. The brooch recalls the nineteenth-century ruffles while the necklace refers to the Elizabethan world and his ruffs. Silver thread’s embroidery that frame the cuts on the net turn the idea of the broken mosquito net into a precious element. Wireframe recycles a domestic object as the mosquito net and, by changing the user context, it rediscovers his value in its imperfection.
