HOLO

Holo is a collection for the italian brand Colmar.  I’ve been inspired by the startling optical effects produced by the reflection of light on snow-covered surfaces. For this reason, the accent is put on the contrast between the surfaces that reflect the whole solar spectrum and those that absorb virtually all the light so they can often be described as a complete absence of light and colour.  The ultimate technologies in printing as well as the use of the innovative coating known as `Vantablack‘ have made this possible. The most important part of the process was to find the right balance between these two contrasting surface due to the balance in construction, colours,in details and in undertone the very thing that connects fashion and function. What is more, that delicate balance is a particular feature of Colmar design.
